What we do:
At Tel-Mar, we craft steel rule dies from 1.5pt, 2pt, 3pt, and 4pt steel rule set in 7-ply maple boards. We are also capable of creating dies with rule heights up to two inches high. We produce dies within the tolerance of +/- .005. We have the ability to output die patterns with a supplied Adobe Illustrator file (.ai). Among our tools is a rule processor, which allows us to craft intricate dies easily.
Tel-Mar also offers die cutting services. Presently, Tel-Mar has 3 die cutting presses with maximum dimensions of 33x40 inches (roller press), 24x34 inches (clamshell press), and 13x21 inches (clamshell press) for your die-cutting needs.
In addition to die building and die cutting, we also offer the cutting and embossing of leather in any shape or design (barring copyright claims). (see photo) The main leather embossing projects that Tel-Mar performs are coasters and bar chips for local businesses and bars.
